Here is a list of all of our dog training lessons. All of our lessons contain videos and text to support multiple learning styles.

Bow — Take a Bow is a neat trick is used in Freestyle
as a dance move, and in sports such as Agility as a warm up stretch.
Buja Board — The buja board builds confidence and gets your dog comfortable with unstable surfaces such as a dock or rickety step, and is often used as a precursor to the teeter totter in dog agility training.
Circle — Teach your dog to spin and turn around in both directions. This trick is used in Freestyle as a dance move, and in sports such as Agility as a warm up stretch.
Come — A basic recall where your dog to comes to you in any situation.
Come Proofing — We show you how to work on a guaranteed recall with your dog.
Crate Training — Your dog willingly goes into a crate or kennel.
Down — Teach your dog to lie down on command, which is also used in Agility, Freestyle, Obedience, and Rally.
Figure-8 Between Legs — Your dog can weave around your legs. Another fun trick used as a warm up or dance move in Freestyle.
Gentle Treat Taking — Your dog can learn how to gently take treats from your fingers.
Heel on Left — Useful when you take a walk, as well as the sports of Freestyle, Obedience, and Rally.
Heel in Figure 8 — This teaches your dog to move with you as you turn. This is used in Freestyle, Obedience, and Rally.
High Five — An extension of Shake, this lesson shows you how to change your positioning so your dog gives you a high five!
Jump — An Agility, Obedience, and Freestyle move where your dog jumps over obstacles.
Jump Safety — Online Dog Coach shows you how to safely teach this trick to your dog.
Leave It — You just dropped a steak on the floor or your dog starts rolling in something gross? Teach your dog to “leave it”!
Pick a Hand — A trick that will amaze your friends! Your dog can find his treat when you hide it in one hand.
Place (or Settle) — Get your dog to settle on a place mat or dog bed.
Play Dead — A classic trick that is used in Freestyle, or just to amaze your friends.
Ready — This word is used to get your dog’s attention in Obedience and Rally.
Release Word — We show you how to communicate with your dog by teaching them a word that releases them from a stay or any trick.
Ring a Bell — This shows you how to get your dog to ring a bell to go outside. It is also used as a trick move in Freestyle.
Roll Over — Some dogs do this naturally. For others, we show you a few tips to get your dog doing this on command.
Settle in Place — Get your dog to settle on a place mat or dog bed.
Shake — This trick is a classic that doubles a “Gimme Five.”
Sit — A basic command that is also used in Agility, Freestyle, Obedience, and Rally.
Stand — Your dog knows how to “sit” and “down,” now you can teach him to stand on command. This command is featured in Home Training and Tricks II and Competition Obedience FUNdamentals.
Stay — This command is used in Agility, Freestyle, Obedience, and Rally.
Stay Proofing — We show you how to work on a guaranteed “stay” with your dog.
Stay at the Door — We show you basic door manners that prevent your dog from busting through the door of the house or car.
Stay in the Car — Tips on how to teach your dog to stay in the car when you open the door or hatch.
Table — A basic obstacle used in Agility is the table. Your dog learns how to recognize it and jump onto it on command.
Touch to Hand — Your dog will touch his nose to your hand, so he’ll move where your hand goes in Agility, Freestyle, or any situation when they are off leash.
Tunnel — This obstacle is used in Agility.
Turn 180 — This maneuver teaches your dog to move away from you and turn in the opposite direction. It is used in Freestyle and Agility.
Wait at the Door — We show you basic door manners that prevent your dog from busting through the door of the house or car.
Wait in the Car — Tips on how to teach your dog to stay in the car when you open the door or hatch.
Watch — The first thing you teach your dog is how to look at you on command. This helps their focus and gets them ready to learn!
Wave — Once your dog can High Five, you can train your dog to wave at you from a distance.
