Deaf Dog Information

You may think that it is more difficult to train a dog that cannot hear you. How would you get his attention? How can you call him to you? The training methods for a deaf dog are not much different from training any dog.

It may be disheartening when you find out your puppy is deaf, but it’s not the end of the world. They can be taught, and can learn over thirty commands.

Activities for Deaf Dogs

Even deaf dogs need a job! Their intelligence and activity levels are the same as any dog. All of our video lessons use luring and shaping using treats and toys, making it easy to train a non-hearing dog. All you need to do is choose visual signals instead of words.
